sports desk : Former Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar is busy promoting sports these days. Sachin Tendulkar made the marathon debut by flagging off the Kochi Spice Coast Marathon 2024 on October 27. About 8000 people participated in this competition. During this, Sachin Tendulkar met some people who were running during the marathon and encouraged them. Like every year, three categories have been created in this competition keeping in mind all the runners from Kochi and its surroundings. The full marathon will be 42.2 km. In which 600 runners participated. At the same time, participation of people in Half-Marathon (21.1K) and everyone's favorite Fun Run (5K) has also increased this year. The brand ambassador of this competition is Sachin Tendulkar who had reached Kochi to encourage the participants during the marathon.

While returning from Kochi, Sachin Tendulkar encouraged and gave courage to some athletes running in the Ageas Feder Kochi Marathon. They are working hard for a fit and healthy India. He tweeted and wrote that this is the first step to participate in the marathon. Today many people have started running for their fitness. He motivated himself to finish the marathon. His hard work has made him a real winner. It is great to see increasing awareness towards health. India is now moving towards sports.

Who will be the winner in the competition?

Kerala's CB Benson and Reena Manohar won the men's and women's titles respectively at the Kochi Spice Coast Marathon 2024. Benson covered the distance of 42.2 kilometers in three hours and 42 seconds. Last two times he had finished second. Justin (03:06:56) and Srinidhi Sreekumar (03:08:49) stood second and third respectively.

In the women's race, Reena captured the first position with a timing of 04:50:06, while Mary Joshi (04:53:59) and Nilina Babu (04:54:32) secured the second and third positions respectively.
