Saif Ali Khan Attack Case: Mumbai Police has got a big success in the case of attack on film actor Saif Ali Khan. Actually, the main accused who attacked the actor has been arrested by Mumbai Police from Thane. Mumbai Police will hold a press conference in this matter at 9 am. In which Mumbai Police can make many big revelations. According to the information, the police arrested the accused for attacking Saif between 2-3 am on Sunday morning. A team of about 100 officers was formed to arrest the accused.

Accused identified

The accused who attacked Saif Ali Khan has been identified as Vijay Das. He is a resident of West Bengal. Who does house keeping work in Mumbai. Saif was attacked in the early hours of Thursday

In injured condition, his family admitted him to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. An auto driver took Saif Ali Khan to Lilavati Hospital. Where the doctors performed his surgery. Senior doctors of the hospital said that his condition is stable and he is out of danger.

Was using many names to escape

To avoid being caught, the attacker gave his false name as 'Vijay Das'. Before the arrest of the attacker, posters of Saif Ali Khan captured in CCTV footage descending the stairs of his house were put up in Mumbai and surrounding areas. Mumbai Police has confirmed that the accused was using multiple names including Vijay Das, Bijoy Das and Mohammad Ilyas.

First a suspect was arrested from Durg

Another suspected accused was arrested in this case late Saturday night. However, he was later released. This suspect was arrested from a train in Durg, Chhattisgarh. After taking the 31-year-old man into custody, top investigators said that the man is not a suspected accused. He was released after about five hours. Because during interrogation the police found that the person had no connection with this case. According to police sources, he was picked up because he resembled the accused, who was captured in the CCTV installed in Saif's building.
