Saif Ali Khan Attack: Payment of Rs 6 and then police changed its mind, accused arrested
Mumbai Police has arrested Shariful, a Bangladeshi national, in connection with the attack on Saif Ali Khan. According to the police, Shariful carried out this attack due to poverty and unemployment. He used to work in a restaurant, but his job was terminated on December 15, 2024, due to which he took this step. Police used documents related to payment for tea worth Rs 6 and bhurji pav worth Rs 60 to track him.

According to the police, Shariful had paid Rs 6 for a tea in Worli through the e-wallet and later paid Rs 60 for a Bhurji Pav in Thane on January 18. The police tracked him as soon as they received this information. The police officer said that Shariful's last place was in a labor camp in Thane, where he lived.
The accused used to work in a restaurant
Shariful told that he earlier worked in a restaurant in Worli, but he was caught stealing in August 2024, after which he was fired. Due to his unemployment in December, he adopted a new method of theft. Shariful also told about his journey that he came to India from Bangladesh by crossing the Dawki River in Meghalaya. After this, he got a job through a manpower agency in Mumbai via Assam and Kolkata.
