Mumbai : Saif Ali Khan was discharged from the hospital after 6 days on Tuesday i.e. 21st January. Dr. Nitin Dange of Lilavati Hospital has given information about this. The papers for discharge were submitted to the hospital last night. Saif Ali Khan's wife Kareena Kapoor and daughter Sara Ali Khan came to pick him up from the hospital. On Thursday, Saif was attacked with a knife about six times by an intruder during an attempt to rob his house in Bandra. After the attack, he was taken by auto rickshaw to Lilavati Hospital at around 2:30 pm, where he underwent two surgeries.

Saif Ali Khan will now rest at home after the knife attack. On Tuesday, Lilavati's doctors had said that Saif will take some more time to recover. The team of doctors had allowed Saif's family to take him home. Now on January 21, Saif has been discharged from the hospital. On January 16, Saif was attacked in his own house, in which he was badly injured.

Till Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan recovers completely, the doctor has forbidden him from lifting weights, going to the gym and shooting and has advised him to take rest. Mumbai Police has arrested the main suspect in the attack on Saif Ali Khan, Mohammad Shariful Islam alias Shehzad, who was caught from Thane on January 19. Since then the police have taken him on remand and are interrogating him.
Police action continues
The accused of attack on Saif Ali Khan was presented in Bandra Court. The accused was sent to police custody for 5 days. The police is trying to get to the bottom of the matter as soon as possible. In this regard, the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police is forming several teams for investigation.
