Saif Ali Khan’s health update after shocking attack: What we know
New Delhi: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan will be shifted to a special ward from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on Friday (January 17), as per The Lilavati Hospital doctors. In a press conference, the team of doctors treating the 54-year-old actor, shared his health update and said that the actor’s recovery is satisfactory.
In a life-threatening incident, Saif Ali Khan was stabbed six times by the intruder during the early hours on January 16. He was rushed to the hospital by his son, Taimur Ali Khan, where he underwent multiple surgeries.

During the press conference, Dr Nitin N Dange, Neurosurgeon at the Lilavati Hospital shared Saif Ali Khan’s health update. He said that the actor has been advised bed rest due to the wounds near his spine but he is “doing excellent”. The doctor further added that they made him “walk” and there is not much pain or any such symptoms. However, he is prone to allergy as of now and hence, will be under the observation.
The actor is able to walk normally after the surgeries. However, his movements will be restricted and he has been advised complete bed rest. Earlier, doctors confirmed that he is out of danger after the actor was out of the surgeries.
What happened at Saif Ali Khan’s Bandra residence?
On Thursday, January 16, an intruder entered the home of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan to attempt a robbery. However, he was seen by Jeh Ali Khan’s nanny, coming out of the bathroom and proceeding towards Jeh. She then got up and tried to wake him up but was pushed by the attacker. She then got into a scuffle with him, injuring her wrist. Hearing the noise, Saif and Kareena rushed out of their room and the former got into a fight with the intruder. The assailant stabbed Saif six times and escaped. According to the nanny, he demanded Rs 1 crore. One suspect has been detained by Mumbai police and questioning is currently underway.
