Saif Ali Khan Health Update: On January 16, Saif Ali Khan was attacked with a knife, after which he was admitted to Lilavati Hospital and underwent surgery. The surgery was successful, and now he is being discharged. Actor Saif Ali Khan is expected to be discharged from the hospital on Tuesday afternoon, according to doctors at Lilavati Hospital. Meanwhile, the police are investigating the attack. Several people have been questioned in connection with the case. Initially, the police had detained two domestic helpers who worked at the actor’s house for questioning, but they were later released. Subsequently, the police questioned other staff members working at Saif’s residence.

On Tuesday morning, the police took the accused to the actor’s house to recreate the crime scene in order to understand the entire incident. During this process, the police also inquired how the accused managed to target the actor. Earlier, the police had stated that the way the accused attacked the actor indicated he was familiar with the layout of the entire house.

In a prior development, a forensic team had visited the actor’s home to collect evidence related to the case. The police arrested Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, the man who attacked Saif and presented him in court, where he was sent on police remand. The police are currently interrogating him regarding the entire incident. According to media reports suggest that the accused is Bangladeshi and was once a national-level wrestler.
