Saif Ali Khan’s health insurance document was leaked online. The paper claimed a whooping amount which was sanction to the actor.

After the brutal stabbing, Saif Ali Khan is finally recovering. The actor is out of danger and has been shifted to a normal ward in Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital. Amidst all this, a health insurance claim of the actor is making rounds on the internet. According to the document, the Hum Tum actor claimed Rs 35.95 lakh for his treatment, with Rs 25 lakh already approved by the insurer. Not only that, but the document also reveals sensitive details such as the patient ID, room category, expected discharge date, and more.

According to Live Mint, Saif is a policyholder of Niva Bupa Health Insurance, and they have confirmed the sanction of an initial amount against the requested claim. However, the insurance company did not disclose the exact amount given to the actor.

Take a look here:

Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company’s official statement, as quoted by Live Mint, stated, “The recent unfortunate incident with actor Saif Ali Khan is deeply concerning. We wish him a speedy and safe recovery.

Mr. Khan is one of our policyholders. A cashless pre-authorisation request was sent to us upon his hospitalisation, and we have given approval for an initial amount to start the treatment. Once we receive the final bills post the complete treatment, it will be settled as per policy terms and conditions.

We stand with Mr. Khan and his family in this distressing time.”

Neither Saif nor his family has addressed the leaked document. However, netizens have raised concerns over the breach of privacy due to the document floating on the internet. While one section of internet users emphasized privacy concerns, another argued that since Saif is a celebrity, his initial amount was sanctioned quickly.

Meanwhile, during the early hours of January 16, 2025, Saif was stabbed six times after an intruder entered his home in Mumbai. The actor was rushed to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, where he received treatment. Now, according to the leaked document, the actor will be discharged by January 21, 2025.
