Al-Falah University Chairman Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui’s troubles increased, court sent him to police custody for 3 days

After the hearing of the money laundering case related to Al-Falah University in Saket Court of Delhi, this matter has once again come into discussion. The court has given permission to send University Chairman Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui to police custody for three days. Now the Enforcement Directorate i.e. ED will interrogate him in this matter. For some time now, this matter was under the constant surveillance of the investigating agencies and now after the court order, the investigation seems to be intensifying further.

According to the information, Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui was arrested by ED on March 24. The agency alleges that transactions of huge amount took place through Al-Falah Trust and its associated institutions, which is being investigated. ED says that a case of alleged illegal earnings of about Rs 493.24 crore has come to light. The investigating agency is investigating through what means this money came and where it was used.

Necessary rules and procedures were not followed

In fact, according to ED, most questions are being raised regarding the amount collected through admission and fees of students. The investigating agency claims that while giving recognition to medical colleges and other institutions, some important rules and procedures were not followed properly. For this reason, investigation is also being done regarding the approvals related to Haryana Government and National Medical Commission. However, the ultimate truth of all these allegations will become clear only after evidence in the court and legal process.

However, another important thing in this case is that ED said in the court that money transactions were done through many companies. The companies whose names appeared in the court include Amala Enterprises LLP and some other construction companies. The investigating agency alleges that these companies were used to send and invest money in different places. The court has also mentioned this aspect in its order.

For this reason the court approved the demand for police custody

At the same time, Saket Court had earlier on May 2 also rejected the regular bail plea of Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui. The court had said at that time that considering the seriousness of the case, the investigation should continue. The court also agreed that in-depth investigation of financial transactions and documents is necessary in the case. This was the reason why this time the demand for police custody was also approved.

Now the investigating agency also claims that in some cases money was sent to foreign countries and invested in businesses or properties there. However, the investigation into this entire matter is still going on and the agency is continuously examining the documents and bank records. ED is trying to find out what was the source of the money allegedly used and who played a role in it. Some more names may also emerge in this case in the coming days.

Al-Falah University and its affiliated institutions have been working in the field of education for a long time. In such a situation, after such allegations come to light, students, parents and local people are also keeping an eye on the whole matter. At present, the institute is presenting its views as per the legal process. In such cases, the court’s decision is considered most important and all parties have full right to present their views.

investigation still not over

At present, the most important thing in this whole matter is that the investigation is not over yet. Further action will be decided on the basis of ED’s inquiry and the documents presented in the court. The next hearing of this case in the court in the coming days is also considered important. People’s eyes are now on what further revelations the investigating agency makes and what new comes to light in the court.
