Salaries of transferred teachers and salaries of all teachers and employees for the month of February should be paid before Holi.

Lucknow. District School Inspector of the capital Lucknow, Rakesh Kumar, assured the district organization that the officials of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Teachers Association were informed by many teachers that the Finance and Accounts Officer has verbally said that the salary for the month of February will be passed only for those schools which have got the objections raised by the audit resolved. The officials of the district organization became worried about this and discussions were held among themselves through telephone.

Prominent in the discussion was the regional vice president/spokesperson and district patron of the organization, Dr. R.P. Mishra, State Minister Dr. R.K. Trivedi, District President Mr. Anil Sharma, District Minister Mr. Mahesh Chandra, Treasurer Mr. R.P. Singh, Income Expenditure Inspector Alok Pathak discussed among themselves and District Patron Dr. R.P. Mishra was authorized to talk to the District School Inspector, Lucknow and ensure that keeping aside the audit related objection for now, the salary for the month of February and the salaries of the teachers transferred from other districts should be paid before Holi.

It was also decided that if the salary payment process is not ensured then the district organization will protest. In continuation of the above, District Patron Dr. R.P. Keeping the board examinations in mind, today on February 24, 2026, at 4:30 am, Mishra sent a message to District School Inspector Mr. Rakesh Kumar in WhatsApp to ensure payment of salary to all the teachers for the month of February before Holi, ignoring the salary and audit objections of the teachers transferred from the districts and also wrote in the message that they will talk after the first shift examination.

In the same sequence, District Patron Dr. R.P. Mishra talked to District School Inspector Rakesh Kumar on telephone at around 12:00. District School Inspector Rakesh Kumar said that I had seen your WhatsApp message and have told the Accounts Officer that salary payment of all teachers and employees should be ensured before Holi. Regarding the transferred teachers also, the District School Inspector said that I am continuously filing the files and their salary payment will also be ensured before Holi.

The District School Inspector expressed ignorance regarding withholding of salary due to audit objection and said that salaries of teachers and employees of any school will not be stopped due to audit objection. District officials are requested to keep talking to their respective schools and all respected principals regarding salary bills and in case of any difficulty, inform the officials of the district organization.

It was also decided in the talks between the officials that if the salary payment process is not ensured by February 26, then the district organization will be forced to protest. Dr. R.P.
