Saleem Mairaj’s humorous take on being compared to Nawazuddin

Pakistani actor Saleem Mairaj humorously reacted to being compared with Indian actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

In a recent appearance on a private TV program, Saleem Mairaj expressed his confusion about why he is often compared to Nawazuddin Siddiqui. He said, “I don’t understand why people compare me with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. He is a talented actor, but I don’t see the purpose of the comparison.”

Sharing an interesting anecdote, Mairaj recalled, “Once, I was at the passport office, standing in line, and two women in the adjacent queue kept looking at me. They were discussing how they had watched Bajrangi Bhaijaan the previous night and thought I was Nawazuddin.”

He added, “The women also mistook me for Nawazuddin Siddiqui. I respect Nawazuddin’s talent, but I don’t think there’s any resemblance in looks or acting style between us.”
