Salim Khan is on ventilator after brain hemorrhage, Lilavati Hospital gives health update

Salim Khan Health Update: An update has come out regarding the health of Salim Khan, father of famous Bollywood actor Salman Khan. On Tuesday, Salim Khan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. Along with him, Salman Khan and all the other family members also reached the hospital. However, no official information has been shared by Salman Khan’s family yet regarding Salim Khan’s health, but today Mumbai-based Lilavati Hospital has issued a medical bulletin giving information about his health condition.

How is Salim Khan’s health?

Doctors at Lilavati Hospital say that Salim Khan’s condition is now much better and he will be removed from the ventilator tomorrow. Doctor Jalil Parker, who was treating him, said that he had suffered ‘minimal brain haemorrhage’, which does not require surgery. He further informed that right now he needs rest and it may take some time to recover completely.

Which tests have Salim Khan undergone?

Information about all the tests conducted on Salim Khan is also given in the medical bulletin of the hospital. According to Doctor Parker, his MRI, CT scan and blood tests have been done. Besides, ‘Digital Subtraction Angiography’ (DSA) has also been done to examine his veins.

Who are the doctors taking care of Salim?

According to Dr. Jalil Parkar, a special team of experts has been deployed to look after Salim Khan. This team includes veteran doctors like Neurologist Dr. Vinay Chavan, Cardiologist Dr. Ajit Menon, Neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange and Dr. Bineet Ahluwalia who are treating him together.

What was the condition of Salim Khan at the time of recruitment?

At around 8 am on Tuesday morning, Dr. Sanjeev Chopra admitted Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan to Lilavati Hospital. He was conscious when brought to the hospital, but his blood pressure was very high. Considering his condition and for safety reasons, the doctors put him on ventilator.

Has Salim Khan undergone any surgery?

Giving information, Doctor Parker said that Salim Khan has not undergone any surgery. During the investigation, a complaint of minor brain hemorrhage was found, which is now normal. There was no need for any major surgery for this and he would be cured with medicine only.
