Salman Khan became emotional remembering Dharmendra, said – ‘He is a very kind person’
Mumbai Bollywood actor Salman Khan became emotional remembering veteran Hindi cinema actor Dharmendra. He paid an emotional tribute to the late actor on the international platform. He said, ‘I have just lost a father figure, Dharam ji.’ After this, Salman told that Dharam ji has a huge impact on his personal and professional life.
‘Whatever I have done in my career…’
Salman said, “I think he has inspired me. I have always followed him and whatever I have done in my career… you know, I have followed a hero, I have followed Dharam ji.”
Why did Salman bow to his father?
Talking about his approach towards cinema, Salman said, “At the script level, I have tried to follow my father. These are the only two people from whom I have been inspired in a good way.”

When asked what was it about Dharmendra that left a deep impact on him, Salman’s answer was immediate and heartfelt. Salman said, “He is a very noble person. A very nice person. A very emotional person.” This is not the first time that Salman has remembered Dharmendra. Earlier, he had also paid tribute to him in the grand finale of ‘Bigg Boss 19’ and remembered him with tears in his eyes.
When did Dharmendra die?
Dharmendra said goodbye to this world on 24th November. He was 89 years old and was about to celebrate his 90th birthday on 8 December. However, he left us just 14 days before his birthday.
