While most people become lax about fitness with increasing age, Salman’s muscular body, his confidence and on-screen presence astonish people even at the age of 60. Salman Khan is one of those stars who has played an important role in popularizing fitness culture in India.
Even in the 90s, when going to the gym was not common, Salman had made workout and strength training a part of his lifestyle. This is the reason why even today young actors are getting inspired by her body. The special thing is that no matter how busy Salman’s shooting schedule is, he always takes out time for fitness. Salman’s fitness routine
According to Salman’s fitness trainer Rakesh R Uddiyar, Salman does old school bodybuilding. In this he does big sets and does 10 different exercises back-to-back for the chest. Apart from this, Salman also does HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) workouts, which he completes in just 45 to 60 minutes.
Salman’s diet
Talking about Salman Khan’s diet, he takes four egg whites and some low-fat milk for breakfast. Before workout, he also eats two egg whites along with protein shake.
After workout, Salman’s diet includes protein bar, oats, almonds and three egg whites. In lunch he mostly eats non-veg, like mutton, fish, salad and lots of fruits. Sometimes he eats chicken for dinner and sometimes he has vegetables or soup.
Salman’s eating habits
Salman had told in Kapil Sharma’s show that he believes in old-fashioned discipline, restraint and healthy coordination of body-mind. He focuses on lean proteins and complex carbs in his diet. You may be surprised to know that Salman Khan eats only one spoon of rice. He believes that staying fit does not mean giving up everything, but it is important to understand how much to eat.
Salman has told in many interviews that he eats less outside food because of his diet. He likes home-cooked food, especially his mother’s dal, rajma and biryani.
