Salman Khan in talks for ‘Hancock’-Style film

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is reportedly in discussions with filmmaker duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K., popularly known as Raj & DK, for a new superhero project that could bring a fresh twist to the genre.

According to reports from Bollywood Hungama, the filmmakers are developing a high-concept superhero comedy designed specifically for Salman Khan. The story is said to follow a format similar to the Hollywood film Hancock.

Sources say the plot revolves around a superhero who is tired of saving the world and wants to retire from his duties. However, circumstances repeatedly force him back into action. His attempts to live a normal life fail as new challenges and conflicts continue to pull him into bigger battles.

The project is expected to combine action-packed superhero elements with broad comedy. The filmmakers are reportedly shaping the script while keeping Salman Khan’s on-screen personality and character traits in mind.

Insiders say the actor has responded positively to the idea. However, he has expressed concerns about the overall budget. Salman has reportedly asked the directors to design the film carefully and avoid making it an overly expensive superhero production.

If discussions progress successfully, the screenplay could be finalised around April 2026. The film is expected to be produced by Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with Reel Life Entertainment.
