Grusha told her experience of working with Salman

Grusha recalled a day in the film when Salman was 10 hours late for the shoot. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, she said that she was called for the 9 am shift, for which she reached the location at 8:30 am. Other cast members including Urmila Mantondkar were also there but Salman was late. He said, “Now all the angles were done, we did whatever we could without Salman. Salman was still not there. In the evening, around 7 or 8 o’clock, Salman came.” Later, Salman was sitting on the sofa with the director and they were talking for a while. Then Grusha’s patience ran out. “He was sitting on the sofa in bald clothes and jeans and was talking to the director. Suddenly I realized that he was talking about this scene for a long time.”

Grusha got angry at Salman

He further said that I thought, ‘What a great scene this is going to be’? I was just me, I had no fear, I had nothing to lose. I just turned and screamed at the director, ‘What are we waiting for?’ It’s almost 9 o’clock at night’.” The actress said that no one had the courage to tell Salman that the shot had been ready for so many hours. When Grusha got a little angry, this is how Salman reacted. “Salman was sitting there and he just looked at me and (looked away) and said ‘Yeah, bring my costume. Let’s do the scene madam. I got up and created a scene. I thought I had made it easy for the director.
