According to the latest reports, 90-year-old Salim Khan has undergone surgery and is currently kept on ventilator support. However, giving relief to his fans, doctors have said that his condition is now stable.

Health deteriorated suddenly, brain surgery was done

According to reports, Salim Khan’s blood pressure had suddenly increased, due to which hemorrhage started in the right part of his brain. Seeing the situation serious, the doctors decided to perform surgery immediately. Dr. Jalil Parkar, senior doctor at Lilavati Hospital, has confirmed that after the successful operation, he has been put on ventilator for intensive monitoring.

The entire Khan family reached the hospital.

As soon as the news of Salim Khan’s illness was received, Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan immediately reached the hospital. Salman Khan was seen quite worried outside the hospital. Along with him, his mother Salma Khan, Helen, sister Alvira and Arpita also came to know about the condition of their father. Apart from the family, Bollywood’s ‘Munna Bhai’ Sanjay Dutt and Salim Khan’s old partner Javed Akhtar also went to the hospital to inquire about his health.

The team of doctors is keeping a close watch

A large team of experts has been deployed to treat Salim Khan, which includes neurologist Dr. Vinay Chavan, cardiologist Dr. Ajit Menon and neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange. The hospital administration says that they will soon issue a detailed medical bulletin while respecting the privacy of the family.

As soon as this news spread on social media, fans and film personalities started praying for the speedy recovery of Salim Sahab. Salim Khan, who wrote iconic films like ‘Sholay’, ‘Zanjeer’ and ‘Deewar’ in the 70s and 80s, is considered a pillar of Hindi cinema.
