Salman Khan’s next film still searching for its villain

Salman Khan’s collaboration with filmmaker Dil Raju is building buzz online as new details keep coming about the film, tentatively titled SVC63.

The 60-year-old star has started shooting for the film with director Vamshi Paidipally, but reports now suggest that the makers are still deciding who will play the film’s main villain.

According to a Mid-Day report, the team is considering either Fahadh Faasil or Akshaye Khanna for the negative role in the action entertainer.

The report quoted an insider saying that the makers want someone who can “strongly match Salman’s screen presence.”

The insider reportedly said both actors bring “very different styles and energies” to the screen, which is why the final decision is taking time.

Reports also claimed that Arvind Swamy was earlier being considered for the part.

The film’s next schedule is expected to happen in Manali before the team moves to Hyderabad for another major shooting leg.

Scenes involving the antagonist are reportedly planned for the Hyderabad schedule, which may explain why the casting is still not locked.

The makers, however, have not officially confirmed the reports.

SVC63 is aiming for an Eid 2027 release and will also star Nayanthara, marking her first on-screen collaboration with Salman Khan.

Meanwhile, Salman is also waiting for the release of Maatrubhumidirected by Apoorva Lakhia and inspired by the Galwan Valley clash.
