He has scored a century in 37 balls against Sri Lanka and in 45 balls against India. Now Sam Ayyub has scored a century in just 53 balls. This is Pakistan’s fastest ODI century in the last 19 years.

Sam Ayub batted brilliantly as soon as he came to the crease. He along with Abdullah Shafiq took Pakistan’s score to 50 runs in just 8 overs and after this the player reached his half-century in just 32 balls. During this, Sam Ayyub had scored 42 runs from the boundary. After this, Sam Ayyub continued batting faster and took Pakistan’s score to 100 runs in 13.2 overs. Sam Ayyub completed his century in 53 balls and Pakistan won the second ODI in 18.2 overs.

Pakistan won the second ODI match by 10 wickets. Sam Ayyub’s fellow opener Abdullah Shafiq scored 32 not out. The ODI series is now tied at 1-1 and the third and deciding match of the series will be played in Bulawayo on November 28.
