Sports Desk: In the Boxing Day Test being played between India and Australia, a player achieved a big achievement as soon as he made his debut for Australia. The fourth match of the Border-Gavaskar series is being played in Melbourne. In this match, Australia's young batsman Sam Constas made his debut at the age of 19 years and 85 days. He achieved a big feat as soon as he made his debut.
With this, Constas will become the youngest batsman to make his Test debut for Australia after Ian Craig. Craig was 17 years and 239 days old when he played against South Africa at the MCG in 1953.
Constas scored centuries in two Sheffield Shield matches for New South Wales. He scored unbeaten 73 runs in the match against India A at MCG while he scored 107 runs in the pink ball match for Prime Minister's XI against India in Canberra.
