Now these pharmaceutical companies have been instructed to recall the stock. These medicines have not met the standards of the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation. The actions of the organization have created a stir among the pharma companies.

Supply is done all over the country

These medicines made in Himachal are supplied all over the country. These include many medicines including cancer, blood sugar, heart attack prevention. State Drug Controller Manish Kapoor said that after the CDSCO alert, notice has been issued to all the pharmaceutical companies. After getting the answer, strict action will be taken against them. In the month of September this year, CDSCO and State Drug Controller collected samples of various drug manufacturing companies in the state. After which CDSCO has shared their report after testing it in the lab. According to this, 20 out of 49 samples were found failed in the CDSCO test and 3 out of 18 drug samples were found failed in the drug controller test.

Samples of these medicines failed

The medicines whose samples have failed include oxytocin, which is used to increase labor pain and reduce bleeding. Calcium Gluconate- Used in heart attack. Ifosfamide- Prevents cancer from growing. Apart from this, samples of medicines for pneumonia and blood sugar have also failed. Ceftriaxone for pneumonia, Gentamicin for infection and Genericart for blood sugar, manufactured in Paonta Sahib's Zee Laboratory Company, have failed. Nimesulide of Innovo Capetape Company of Jharmajri, Ciprovin of Celebrity Biotech Company and 2 samples of Motosep of Ariso Pharmaceutical Company of Makhun Majra have failed.
