Samsung’s tension will increase, Apple’s first foldable iPhone Ultra will enter, know which one will get more power?

Apple and Samsung foldable phone: Nowadays, there are a lot of foldable smartphones in the market and this year the biggest competition is also going to be seen in this range. On one hand, Apple is preparing to launch its foldable iPhone Ultra for the first time, while on the other hand, Samsung is entering the market with its new Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide. But also know that both the companies have not made an official announcement yet, yet the leaks that are continuously coming out have revealed many important information about these two premium devices.

Who will dominate in design and display?

Leaks have revealed that Apple’s iPhone Ultra will have a wider design than before when opened, due to which its experience can be like that of a small tablet. It is expected to have a 5.3-inch external display and a 7.8-inch foldable screen. Additionally, USB Type-C port, Camera Control button and dual rear camera setup can also be seen. Whereas Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide can come with 7.6-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner display and 5.5-inch cover screen. Both screens will support 120Hz refresh rate. Reports also suggest that this phone, when folded, can be only 9.7mm thick and weigh around 200 grams.

There will be a direct competition between processor and performance

Apple may offer the new A20 Pro chipset, 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and in-house C2 modem in its first foldable phone. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide is likely to get Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor. Due to which both the smartphones can come with 12GB RAM and up to 1TB storage from which flagship performance is expected.

Who will be ahead in camera and battery?

Talking about the camera coming in the phone, there is talk of Apple getting two 48MP rear cameras while Samsung can come with 50MP primary and 50MP ultra-wide camera. Both phones are expected to have selfie cameras on the inner and outer displays. At present, Samsung seems to be taking the lead in terms of battery. It has also been told in the leaks that Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide can also get 4,800mAh battery and support of Super Fast Charging 2.0. Not only this, Apple has not yet given any indication regarding the battery capacity. However, the company’s hardware and software optimization is always known to provide better battery backup.

In such a situation, it is being estimated that if the leaked information is correct then the foldable smartphone market of 2026 will show a big competition between Apple and Samsung.
