Samsung Launches Galaxy S26 Series in India Starting at ₹87,999
Gurugram, February 26: Tech giant Samsung announced on Thursday that its flagship Galaxy S26 series is now available for pre-order in India. The starting price is ₹87,999, while the top model, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, is priced at ₹1,89,999.
The Galaxy S26 series includes the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The company claims that this new series offers the most advanced ‘Agentic AI’ mobile experience to date, making everyday tasks easier and more intuitive.
These smartphones are designed to simplify tasks such as schedule management, information retrieval, content capture, and photo-video editing.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is priced at ₹1,39,999 for the 12 GB + 256 GB variant, while the 12 GB + 512 GB model costs ₹1,59,999. The 16 GB + 1 TB variant is available for ₹1,89,999.
The Galaxy S26+ starts at ₹1,19,999 for the 12 GB + 256 GB variant, while the 12 GB + 512 GB model is priced at ₹1,39,999. The Galaxy S26 is available for ₹87,999 for the 12 GB + 256 GB variant, with the 12 GB + 512 GB version costing ₹1,07,999.
Pre-orders for the Galaxy S26 series began on February 25 at major online and offline retail stores across the country. Customers can also pre-order through Samsung Live on the company’s official website.
These smartphones come in Cobalt Violet, White, Black, and Sky Blue colors. Additionally, exclusive Pink Gold and Silver Shadow color options are available on Samsung.com.
Samsung claims that the Galaxy S26 Ultra features the industry’s first built-in privacy display, which reduces screen visibility from side angles to protect user data.
This device is powered by a customized Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile platform processor, providing improved CPU, GPU, and NPU performance for smooth multitasking and robust on-device AI capabilities.
To keep the phone cool during extensive use, the Galaxy S26 Ultra features a newly designed vapor chamber and enhanced thermal materials. It supports Super Fast Charging 3.0, allowing the battery to charge up to 75% in approximately 30 minutes, according to the company.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Galaxy S26 series emphasizes AI-powered photography and videography. The Ultra variant includes a wider aperture for better low-light photos, advanced nightography video, and improved Super Steady features for stable recording.
