According to tech reports, this latest update is currently being rolled out in Samsung’s home market i.e. South Korea. Compared to the monthly security patch which is usually between 200 to 500MB, the size of this time’s firmware version S93xNKSUACZF1 is around 900MB. This large size itself gave a clear indication that the company is not only making changes related to security, but big software features are also being added to it. South Korean tech experts claim that after successful testing there, it will also be released for users of India, Europe and American markets in the coming weeks.

Through this new update, Samsung has filled the gap of two most important AI features that S25 users were waiting for since last month’s stable One UI 8.5 release:

• Notification Highlights (Prioritize & Summarize): This tool runs entirely on on-device Galaxy AI. It analyzes the numerous alerts and group chats coming to your phone based on their content and places the messages most important to you at the top of the notification bar. Additionally, it turns long chats and mails into a short and simple overview, giving you the context without having to open the entire message.
• File Summaries: After this update, users can create AI-powered short summaries of PDF and TXT files saved in their phone’s local storage as well as clips recorded in the Voice Recorder app.

Android security patch of June 2026 also included

Along with adding new features, the company has also bundled the June 2026 Android security patch in this update. This patch works to strengthen the security of the phone, fix old system bugs and improve the overall stability of the device. However, experts have also clarified that keeping privacy in mind, these new AI features will work only on messages coming in the phone’s system language (default language) and this tool may stop working in the background if the power-saving mode is on.

This update is expected to reach the Indian market by the third or fourth week of June. When this rollout goes live in India, users will be able to install it through very easy steps. For this, you will have to go to the Settings of the phone, scroll down, tap on Software Update and then select the option of Download and Install.
