This new panel is said to be more advanced than the existing M14 display, although its technical features have not been fully revealed yet. It is expected that its brightness, color accuracy and power efficiency will be better than before. The report says that the Pixel 11 series with this display may be launched around August 2026, which will be before Apple.
The report claims that this display can give Google an edge in the technology race. At present, Samsung is still using the M14 panel in the Galaxy S26 series, so the company’s shift to M16 is not certain yet.
