Sangeet Som called Mahmood Madani a ‘sick Maulana of a sick community’, said – ‘Will make him run to Lahore with sticks’

Lucknow, 5 December. BJP leader Sangeet Som has termed Maulana Mahmood Madani as the sick Maulana of a sick community. BJP leader Sangeet Som, who was fired on his statement, said, which evil person are you taking the name of? Jihadis like Mahmood Madani call Jihad good. He says that he does not leave Jihad for a good cause. He says Jihad is a good word. Those people are sick Maulanas of a sick community.

Sangeet Som said that I want to tell Mahmood Madani that he should stop making such statements otherwise we will chase him to Lahore with sticks. SP MP from Rampur has also supported the statement of Mahmood Madani, on which Sangeet Som said that these are mentally upset people. On Thursday night, BJP leader Sangeet Som had reached a wedding ceremony in Muzaffarnagar district, where while talking to the media, he said that friend, you have spoiled the atmosphere of the entire wedding.

What did Madani say?

Madani had on Saturday alleged that efforts were being made to establish dominance of one group in the country through actions like bulldozer action, lynching, weakening of Muslim Waqf and Islamic reforms. He also claimed that after the Babri Masjid verdict and several other decisions, the perception has increased that the courts are working under government pressure. Madani had said, “It has to be said with regret that organized efforts are being made to establish dominance of a particular group and to make other groups legally helpless, socially isolated and economically humiliated, defamed and deprived.”
