Sangeet Som’s controversial statement on Shahrukh Khan, said- traitors of the country have no right to live in India
digital desk- Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former MLA from Sardhana Thakur Sangeet Som has once again given a controversial statement regarding film actor Shahrukh Khan. He described Shahrukh Khan as a “traitor of the country” and said that such people have no right to live in India. This statement of Sangeet Som is giving rise to sharp reactions in political and social circles. This statement was given while addressing a public meeting during the Atal Memorial Conference and Voter Intensive Revision Workshop as part of the Jan Centenary Celebrations organized in Daurala area. Speaking from the stage, Sangeet Som mentioned the alleged atrocities being committed against Hindus in Bangladesh and also attacked the alleged anti-national activities within the country.
Accused of buying Bangladeshi players for crores through IPL
Sangeet Som alleged that on one hand Hindus are being killed in Bangladesh, sisters and daughters are being tortured and on the other hand some people are buying Bangladeshi players through IPL for crores of rupees. He claimed that Shahrukh Khan has bought a Bangladeshi cricketer for around Rs 9 crore. However, he did not provide any official evidence in support of this. The former MLA said that those who work against the sentiments of the country should not have the right to live in the country. He also said that such people are strengthening anti-national forces through cricket and films.

In his address, Sangeet Som praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that when the Prime Minister goes on a foreign trip, the whole world, even America, respects him. According to him, the Prime Minister’s foreign visits increase the pride of 140 crore countrymen. Sangeet Som also mentioned the public welfare schemes of the Central Government. He said that the poor have benefited from schemes like free ration, gas cylinders under the Ujjwala scheme and toilets at every door, due to which the opposition parties have become nervous.
