Mall, Lucknow. The central government is spending crores of rupees on the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, but the sanitation workers are sabotaging the campaign. They are not reaching the villages regularly, due to which there is accumulation of filth in the villages. The drains are choked. When the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was started, the public representatives and officials of the area carried out a cleanliness campaign with brooms. As time has passed, the pace of this campaign has slowed down.
The cleaning workers hired for cleaning in Mahima Kheda village of Mudiyara Gram Panchayat of Mal Development Block area are no longer serious about their duty and are not reaching the village for regular cleaning. Every day the villagers complain about them on the block. Due to the absence of sanitation workers, the drains in the village are choked and water is flowing on the roads. Due to which diseases are spreading in the village. Most of the streets in the area are filled with water. The drains are ringing. Due to which there is also a danger of spreading infectious diseases.
