Indian filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali had moved forward with his much-awaited project Love & War, which brought together Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.
The film had been progressing steadily, and the team was preparing for a major song schedule in May. As per production updates, the schedule was planned to run for around 15 to 20 days.
A source linked to the project said, “Love & War is about to start a song shoot schedule in early May. It will be a 15 to 20-day schedule.”
The film had already created strong buzz due to its scale and cast. The combination of the three lead actors with Bhansali’s direction had increased expectations among audiences.
Reports had also stated that the team focused on large-scale sets and detailed visuals, which are known features of Bhansali’s filmmaking style.
Earlier, Ranbir had confirmed the film’s new release date after the announcement which followed his confirmation. The Barfi actor shared the update during an Instagram Live session marking the anniversary of his lifestyle brand ARKS. The film was earlier expected to release in June 2026.
The producers decided a release date change not to take on Dhamdhara 2 as a clear rival at the ticket counters.
The mounted production of Love & War presents itself as a romantic drama which contains deep emotional elements.
With the next schedule approaching, the production had entered an important phase of shooting as the film moved further into development.
