In fact, today Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena had called a parliamentary party meeting in Delhi. Six Lok Sabha MPs did not attend this meeting. Only Lok Sabha MPs Arvind Sawant, Anil Desai, Rajabhau Waje and Sanjay Raut himself were present in this meeting called by Anil Desai. The MPs who remained absent include Nagesh Ashtikar, Sanjay Deshmukh, Sanjay Jadhav, Sanjay Dina Patil, Omprakash Rajenimbalkar and Bhausaheb Wakchore.
While talking to journalists after the meeting, Sanjay Raut targeted the rebel MPs, calling them traitors, dishonest and deceitful. He alleged that these MPs have betrayed the party. Along with this, he also used abusive words against them. Earlier on Wednesday also he had used abusive language against the rebel MPs. Party MP Anil Desai also clarified that disciplinary action will be taken against those MPs who did not attend the meeting. He said that show cause notices have been issued to all the MPs who did not come to the meeting and the reason for their absence has been asked.
Sanjay Raut said that it will be difficult for the rebel MPs to go to their parliamentary constituency. The workers are on the streets now and will remain so in future also. He said that the party does not end with the departure of four-five MPs. It was the party workers who made him MP.
The rebel MPs were given an additional Rs 10 crore and taken to a safe place in Rajasthan, he claimed. If the rebel MPs have any morality, they should resign.
