Sanjay Saraogi becomes new president of Bihar BJP, will replace Dilip Jaiswal

Patna: Darbhanga city MLA Sanjay Saraogi has been made the new president of Bihar BJP. He will replace minister Dilip Jaiwal in the state government. Sanjay Saraogi is a five-time MLA from Darbhanga Sadar. Has been a former minister. He comes from Vaishya community which is the core voter of BJP. He is a well-known and old face of the party in Mithilanchal. This time he was not made a minister. He will replace Dilip Jaiswal. Dilip Jaiswal also comes from Vaishya community.

Nitin Nabin took charge as the working national president of BJP, JP Nadda and Amit Shah were present.
Let us tell you that Saraogi, born on 28 August 1969, was associated with the All India Student Council since his student life. He took membership of BJP in 1995. In 2003, he contested the election of ward councilor from Darbhanga Municipal Corporation and won. He was born on 28 August 1969 in Bihar. Sanjay has studied M.Com and MBA from Mithila University. Sanjay was elected MLA from Darbhanga seat for the first time in the year 2005. After this, it also won the assembly elections in 2010, 2015, 2020 and 2025. In the 2025 assembly elections, Sanjay defeated Umesh Sahni by a huge margin.
