Sannia Ashfaq raises fresh allegations over marriage to former cricketer

Digital content creator Sannia Ashfaq has once again spoken publicly about her past marriage to former Pakistan cricketer Imad Wasim, sharing details of what she described as a difficult and painful personal experience.

In a series of social media posts, Sannia alleged that she faced emotional distress, controlling behaviour and family pressures during her marriage. She claimed that the challenges became more severe during her pregnancy and that the situation had a lasting impact on her and her children.

Sannia further alleged that legal disputes between the two sides continue, including disagreements over residence arrangements and issues related to child custody and parental responsibilities.

According to her statements, social welfare authorities had attempted to facilitate communication regarding the children, but she claimed those efforts did not produce the desired outcome.

She also rejected accusations that she had prevented contact between the children and their father, insisting that her priority remained the wellbeing and protection of her family.

The social media influencer said she would continue to support and care for her children regardless of the difficulties she faces.

Meanwhile, Imad Wasim has publicly responded to some of the claims and urged his former wife not to involve his current spouse in disputes related to their past relationship.

The former cricketer also defended his family and called for the matter to be left behind so that all parties could move forward.

Sannia later responded through social media, saying she remained focused on her children and personal wellbeing despite the ongoing public exchange.

The dispute has generated widespread discussion online, with many social media users expressing support for Sannia and praising her resilience as a mother.

Others have called for privacy and restraint, arguing that personal family matters should be resolved through legal channels rather than public debate.

As of now, the allegations and counterclaims made by both sides remain matters of public dispute and have not been conclusively determined by a court of law.
