Sara Tendulkar hosts bachelorette for soon-to-be bhabhi Saaniya Chandhok at Masai Mara, where Ranbir Kapoor proposed to Alia Bhatt

Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar will be getting married in a few days. The pre-wedding celebrations of Arjun and Saaniya have already begun, and on Friday evening, Sachin’s daughter Sara hosted a bachelorette for her soon-to-be sister-in-law. Sara, along with Saaniya Chandhok and her other friends, took a trip to Kenya.

Taking to Instagram, Sara shared glimpses of Saaniya Chandhok’s fun and wild bachelorette. The bash was filled with an adventurous safari ride, a luncheon amidst the wild, relishing scrumptious food, and celebrating the bride-to-be. Sara captioned the post, “If found, return to the wild.”

Needless to say, the girls had a great time in the Masai Mara, the iconic place where Ranbir Kapoor proposed to Alia Bhatt.

The wedding is expected to be a grand affair with many big names from Bollywood, politics, and sports in attendance. Reports suggest that the couple will tie the knot on March 5, 2026, with pre-wedding festivities starting from March 3.

Since the Tendulkars were spotted in Jamnagar recently, it is being speculated that an event, or probably a star-studded reception, will take place there.

As reported by India Today, Arjun Tendulkar got engaged to Saaniya Chandhok in August 2025. The engagement was an intimate affair.

Recently, Sachin Tendulkar invited Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader, PM Modi, and the President of India, among other ministers, for the wedding of his son Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandok.

Who is Saaniya Chandok?

Saaniya comes from one of Mumbai’s most prominent business families. The Ghai family is renowned in the hospitality and food sector and owns the luxury InterContinental hotel and Brooklyn Creamery, a popular ice cream brand.

Meanwhile, Saaniya, who graduated from the London School of Economics, works as a Designated Partner and Director at Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store LLP, based in Mumbai. She also has a Veterinary Technician diploma from the Worldwide Veterinary Service in 2024.

Saaniya also shares a close bond with Arjun’s sister, Sara Tendulkar. Her Instagram account does have multiple selfies alongside Saaniya, and reportedly, the two also attended some IPL matches together in recent seasons.

Saaniya’s grandfather, Ravi Iqbal Gha, is the chairman of Graviss Hospitality Ltd.

Arjun Tendulkar is the son of former India captain and cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar. He has played for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL.

Arjun, 25, is a left-arm fast-bowling all-rounder who represents Goa in domestic cricket and has also featured for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.
