New Delhi, 15 December. Monday is the death anniversary of Sardar Patel, the symbol of national unity. On the occasion of Sardar Patel Memorial Day, BJP leaders including PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla remembered Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his death anniversary. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote on his social media platform ‘X’, “My respectful tribute to the Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 75th death anniversary. He dedicated his life to unite the country. A grateful nation can never forget his incomparable contribution in building a united and strong India.”

He further wrote that as the first Home Minister of the country, he made it his life goal to establish the security, internal stability and peace of Mother India. Sardar Saheb, who laid the foundation of self-reliant India with the self-reliance of women and farmers by reviving the cooperative movement, will continue to guide us all like the Pole Star on the path of nation first.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla wrote on his social media platform
He further wrote that under his visionary guidance the historic merger of more than 550 princely states into the Union of India became possible, which laid the foundation of a strong and united India. Sardar Patel ji’s life is an immortal example of national service, discipline and devotion, which will always inspire the country on the path of unity and determination.
