How to make Beetroot Halwa

  • To make beetroot halwa, using the ingredients given above, first heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan.
  • Now add grated beetroot to it and fry on medium flame for 5-7 minutes so that its rawness goes away.
  • When the beetroot becomes slightly soft, add milk to it. Let it cook until the milk dries completely and Beetroot It should not become completely soft. Keep stirring it in between.
  • Now add sugar or jaggery in it. After adding sugar, the halwa will release some water, cook it well till it dries.
  • Finally add cardamom powder and chopped nuts to it.
  • Add one more spoon of ghee on top, this will give wonderful shine and fragrant aroma to the halwa.
