Ingredients to make Mirchi Salan
Green chillies – 6-8 (removing seeds)
Onion – 1 medium (finely chopped)
Tomato – 2 medium (finely chopped)
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
Oil – 2 spoons
Mustard oil (optional) – 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder – ½ teaspoon
Red chilli powder – ½ teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
Garam masala – ¼ teaspoon
Salt – as per taste
Water – 1 cup
Coriander – to garnish
How to make Mirchi Salan
- To make chilli salan, wash the chillies thoroughly, cut them in half and remove the seeds.
- Finely chop onion and tomato.
- Heat oil in pan.
- Add finely chopped onion to it and fry it until it becomes light golden brown.

- Then add turmeric, red chili powder and coriander powder.
- Add tomatoes to the masala and cook until soft.
