In the case of kidnapping of a 15-year-old girl about one and a half years ago, the court of Additional Sessions Judge FTC/CAW Sonbhadra Bipin Kumar III, while hearing the hearing on Saturday, found the accused Sarvan Kumar guilty and sentenced him to 4 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000. In case of non-payment of fine, he will have to undergo additional imprisonment of two months. The period spent in jail will be included in the sentence.

According to the prosecution, the father of the victim, resident of a village in Duddhi police station area, had alleged in the complaint given in Duddhi police station on January 29, 2024, that on January 23, 2024, at 2 am, his 15-year-old daughter was lured away by Sarwan Kumar, son of Lalkeshwar, resident of Jharokla, police station Duddhi, district Sonbhadra. Even before this, Sarvan had taken his daughter away.

But the matter was calmed down after a mutual settlement. Take necessary action. On this complaint, the police registered an FIR and investigated the case and after finding sufficient evidence, the investigator filed a charge sheet in the court. While hearing the case, the court, after listening to the arguments of the advocates of both the parties, examining the statements and documents of the witnesses, sentenced the accused Sarwan Kumar to 4 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000. In case of non-payment of fine, he will have to undergo additional imprisonment of two months. The period spent in jail will be included in the sentence. Government lawyer Satyaprakash Tripathi argued on behalf of the prosecution.
