Patna: After winning the assembly elections from Jamshedpur West, former minister Saryu Rai on Tuesday visited Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at Ane Marg and paid a courtesy call on him. The Chief Minister congratulated him and congratulated him on his victory in the assembly elections.

Former minister Saryu Rai had contested the assembly elections this time from his old seat Jamshedpur West. Contesting the election on JDU ticket, Saryu Rai defeated Congress candidate and minister Banna Gupta. Earlier, Saryu Rai had defeated the then Chief Minister Raghuvar Das from Jamshedpur East seat in the 2019 assembly elections.
