Although we always eat Sattu paratha, Sattu drink is a very beneficial and tasty drink for summers. It cools the body, maintains energy and is also good for digestion. Let us know the recipe of making Sattu drink in an easy way.
Material
Sattu-2 tbsp
Cold curd-1 cup
Cold water -½ cup
Roasted cumin powder-1 tsp
Black salt – as per taste
a little common salt
finely chopped green chillies
finely chopped coriander
Method
- Beat the curd well in a bowl so that it becomes smooth. Add sattu in it and mix well so that lumps do not form.
- Now add water to it and make the consistency of your choice. Add roasted cumin powder, black salt and common salt.
- If you want a mild spicy taste then you can also add green chilli and green coriander. Mix everything well. Serve chilled.
- You can also add a little lemon juice to it, this will further enhance the taste. If you like sweets, you can also make sweet Sattu Lassi by adding some jaggery or sugar instead of salt.
