Saudi Arabia Ranking: Saudi Arabia took a huge leap in the world, included in top 15 countries, got third place in G20
Saudi Arabia has increased its credibility across the world. Saudi Arabia has now reached number 13 in the latest IMD World Competitiveness Ranking. Talking about G20 countries, Saudi is at third place. This major success has come due to the impact of Saudi Vision 2030.

Like every year, the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) has released a report measuring the capabilities of countries this time too. In this report, Saudi Arabia has made a lot of progress in the last few years. In the year 2017, Saudi was at number 36, which has now improved to number 13 by 2026.
Big change in ranking
Saudi Arabia has significantly improved its economic condition and government functioning. From the table given below you can understand in which areas Saudi has improved its position:
Majid Al-Kassabi, Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Saudi Competitiveness and Business Centre, said that this success is the result of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s hard work and commitment to meeting the goals of Vision 2030. The government has enacted more than 1,000 laws and technical reforms for economic growth and sustainable development.
Saudi becomes number 1 in the world in these areas

In addition, Saudi Arabia ranked second in the world in social cohesion and activities to start new businesses. Saudi has been ranked third in the world in terms of transparency of government policy and creation of new firms.
IMD’s survey also revealed that Saudi Arabia has now become a great place to do business. The booming economy here, easy access to finance, good infrastructure and strong legal framework are attracting foreign investors and companies.
