Saudi Arabia Tourism Visa: Saudi Arabia launches tourism package visa, now visa, hotel and ticket will be arranged in one booking

Saudi Arabia has started ‘Tourism Package Visa’ service for tourists. Now foreigners will not have to apply at different places for visa, air tickets and hotel booking. This facility has been started on a trial basis from 6th July 2026 to further simplify the travel experience.

What is this new feature

Under this new arrangement, eligible tourists will be able to book a package that will include tourist visa, flight tickets and accommodation in licensed hotels. If needed, separate tourism activities and events can also be added to this package. This is a digital service through which visas will be issued instantly to citizens of ‘Group B’ countries, provided they purchase this package through travel agencies approved by the Ministry of Tourism.

Minister’s statement and objectives

Tourism Minister Ahmed al-Khatib said the service is a big step forward for people visiting Saudi Arabia. This will make it easier for tourists to plan their travels and tourism partners will get an opportunity to offer better packages. He believes that with this facility people will spend more time in Saudi Arabia and will be able to see the different cities here closely.

These departments worked together

The Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs and Insurance Authority have worked together to prepare this entire service. There will be direct coordination between the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of External Affairs in the application process, so that approval can be given as soon as the application form is received.

How to get a visa

If one wants to apply for this package visa, he or she needs to follow the procedure given below:

• First of all, one has to go to a travel agency licensed by the Ministry of Tourism.
• You will have to purchase a tour package from there.
• The application form will be sent to the Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of External Affairs through the system.
• Will have to wait for approval from the Ministry of External Affairs.
• After approval, a visa number will be issued, which can be printed before travelling.

It is important for the travel agencies involved in the trial phase to have better digital systems and to be available 24 hours to help the customers, so that the tourists do not face any problem.
