Saudi closed Ras Tanura oil refinery after Iranian attack, it will be affected worldwide

Saudi Arabia shuts key oil refinery : Saudi Aramco briefly closed its Ras Tanura oil refinery after it was targeted by an Iranian drone. Saudi state television reported the decision. In which it was said that there were no casualties in the attack and it was called off as a precaution. After this, there is a possibility of rise in oil prices.

Saudi Aramco’s refinery has the capacity to produce more than half a million barrels of crude oil every day. On Monday, its Ras Tanura oil refinery near Dammam was targeted by an Iranian drone. After which the refinery was closed for some time. Saudi state television reported the decision, citing an “official source.” It said there were no casualties in the fire and its decision was taken as a precaution.

Let us tell you that the attacks on Iran shook the world markets on Monday, US futures fell more than 1% and oil prices rose, although gains in defense contractors and oil companies helped reduce losses in Asian trading. European markets opened sharply lower. Germany’s DAX fell 2.2% to 24,737.47, while the CAC 40 in Paris fell 1.9% to 8,413.91. Britain’s FTSE 100 fell 1% to 10,800.63.
