Savannah Guthrie’s family ruled out as suspect in Nancy missing case

American journalist Savannah Guthrie’s mother is still missing but the officials have given a new update.

Savannah’s mother Nancy went missing on January 31 in Arizona where she resided and was reported missing on February 1.

While the search is still going on, the woman’s family has been “cleared as possible suspects”.

The Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said on Monday “To be clear … the Guthrie family — to include all siblings and spouses — has been cleared as possible suspects.”

“The family has been nothing but cooperative and gracious and are victims in this case.”

The sheriff requested for the case to be reported professionally and not cause any more hurt to the victim’s family.

Earlier FBI had placed a reward for any lead who comes forward with information that leads to the rescue of Nancy.

Savannah has shared an emotional video pleading the suspected kidnappers of her mother to “do the right thing”.

In addition, a stranger DNA was found at the property as revealed by the officials on February 13.
