Say bye-bye to the tension of recharge! These are the powerful 30 day plans of Jio and Airtel

Are you also troubled by the recharge plan of 28 days every month? Is the extra expense of recharging 13 times a year instead of 12 burning a hole in your pocket? Amidst the increasing competition in the telecom sector, major operators like Jio, Airtel and BSNL have taken this complaint of customers seriously. There are now select affordable plans available in the market with 30-day or entire calendar month validity, which not only offer unlimited calling but also provide ample data.

BSNL’s cheapest blast

Government company BSNL is giving tough competition to private companies in terms of value-for-money. The company’s ₹147 plan is currently considered to be the cheapest 30-day package in the market. In this you get unlimited calling (local/STD), total 10GB data and 100 SMS daily, which is perfect for light users. If you want a slightly longer validity, then you can check out the ₹347 plan, which offers full 50 days of service with 2GB data per day and unlimited calling.

For users who want premium and more data, BSNL’s ₹ 997 plan is also much talked about, which comes with a long validity of 150 to 164 days. This includes ample data and calls facility. These affordable plans of BSNL are becoming very popular especially in small cities and rural areas.

Powerful 30-day plans from Jio and Airtel

Reliance Jio has also introduced a special plan of ₹ 319 for its customers. This plan comes with a validity of 30 days and offers 1.5GB data, unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day. At the same time, for those who want more data at once, the ₹ 355 package is best. It offers a total of 25GB data, JioHotstar subscription and 50GB JioCloud storage for 30 days. Apart from this, the facility of 25GB data and unlimited calls is also provided in the ₹ 335 plan.

Airtel is also not behind in this race. Airtel’s ₹319 plan comes with 1.5GB daily data, unlimited calling and Google One (30GB cloud storage). If you want to upgrade a bit more, you can go for the ₹379 package, which offers 2GB daily data along with 5G unlimited access and Apple Music. Airtel’s ₹355 plan also offers 30 days calendar month validity, which is quite attractive for urban 5G users.

Vi’s night offer and the issue echoed in Parliament

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has targeted those people who use internet more at night. Vi’s ₹379 plan comes with 2GB daily data, but its specialty is that it offers unlimited data from 12 midnight to 6 am. For budget users, Vi also has 30-day plans priced at ₹218 (total 3GB) and ₹232 (total 4GB).

Interestingly, the issue of 28 days validity of recharge has now reached the Parliament. AAP MP Raghav Chadha has called it a ‘pocket-picking’ strategy. He has demanded that companies should provide 30-day validity and daily data carry-forward facility so that customers can get the right value for their money. Now the pressure on TRAI to change these rules is also increasing.
