Greater Noida News: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Greater Noida West, where a 16-year-old student committed suicide after being fed up with the alleged harassment by the school management. The student was accused of using AI tools in the pre-board examination, after which she was called for questioning.
A class 10 student living in Greater Noida West committed suicide under suspicious circumstances on December 23. According to sources, the incident has its roots in the ongoing pre-board examinations in the school. Police investigation has revealed that the student was accused of using modern Artificial Intelligence (AI) based tools during the examination. The school administration claims that a mobile phone was recovered from the student at the time of the examination, which was immediately confiscated. After this, the school management called the student and inquired about the violation of these rules.
Father’s serious allegation: ‘Insulted his daughter in front of everyone’
After the death of the student, her father has lodged a formal complaint with the local police, in which he has made very serious allegations against the school administration. The father alleges that the school principal and concerned teachers publicly humiliated his daughter in front of other students and staff. According to her, this was not just a simple interrogation but deliberate mental torture which left the 16-year-old girl in such a state of stress and deep grief that she took the suicidal step of ending her life. The family members have accused the school principal and teachers of instigating the suicide.
School denies allegations, police has CCTV footage
The school administration, while presenting its stand on this entire matter, has completely rejected these allegations. The school says that they had only followed the strict CBSE rules, under which carrying of mobile phones inside the examination center is completely prohibited. According to the principal, the conversation with the student was very brief and no misbehavior or abusive language was used in it.

The school management claims that the student was let off with only a strict warning. The police is now investigating this matter from every aspect and the school management, while cooperating in the investigation, has also handed over the CCTV footage of that day to the police officials.
