Taking a commendable initiative towards the empowerment of disabled people in the district, a scooter distribution program was organized from the MLA fund of MLA Shankar Singh Rawat. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Diya Kumari distributed scooties to the disabled people and congratulated them.
While interacting with the beneficiaries during the program, the Deputy Chief Minister said that this initiative will help the disabled people to become self-reliant and they will be able to do their daily tasks with more ease. At the same time, it will become a medium to connect them more strongly with the mainstream of the society.
