Engineer Rashid's brother and Awami Ittehad Party MLA Khurshid Ahmed Sheikh (who displayed a banner on Article 370 in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly today) said that it is completely legal. We wanted to bring a proposal on Article 370, but we were not given a chance. So, what other option did we have? The banner talked about Article 370 and Article 35A, which we condemn. But BJP did not like this. Even if they continue to attack us, we will continue to raise our voice.

The Legislative Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir has nothing to do with Article 370. The way the Congress-National Conference government has secretly brought the Article 370 proposal in the Assembly is illegal and unconstitutional. This is betrayal of the country. Nothing will be found, this has become history: Kavinder Gupta
BJP leader Kavinder Gupta said on the uproar in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly session that the National Conference and the parties of Kashmir want to spoil the atmosphere of Jammu and Kashmir. The way the Speaker is acting as an agent of the National Conference has spoiled the atmosphere. Today, the way they showed hooliganism by removing BJP MLAs through marshals is unbearable. The government itself wants the atmosphere there to deteriorate. Neither will we get any special status nor will we get anything, this has become history.
