Intelligence plan being prepared in Pakistan and Bangladesh! ISI Chief reaches Dhaka, big alarm bell for India
Obnews International Desk: After the fall of Sheikh Hasina government in Bangladesh, the distance in the relations between India and Bangladesh seems to be increasing. At present, Bangladeshi officials are trying to increase their closeness with China and Pakistan. The series of high-level meetings and visits with these countries on various issues has intensified.
Lieutenant General Asim Malik, chief of Pakistan Army's intelligence agency ISI, recently visited Bangladesh, which is the first visit to Dhaka by an ISI chief in decades. The visit has raised concerns about new security challenges on India's eastern and northeastern borders.
It is noteworthy that this visit has taken place at a time when a high level defense delegation from Bangladesh has recently returned from a visit to Pakistan. India's security agencies have become alert due to the increasing military and intelligence cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Malik reached Dhaka via Dubai
When ISI chief Malik reached Dhaka on Tuesday, he was welcomed by senior Bangladesh Army officer Lieutenant General Mohammad Faizur Rahman. Malik had reached Dhaka via Dubai. Regarding General Rehman, it is said that he has alleged links with Islamist groups and Pakistan.
Attempt to create a network to spread unrest in India
According to sources, the main objective of Malik's visit was to create a network for exchange of information between the intelligence agencies of the two countries. This network may carry out efforts to spread unrest in India through cross-border violent activities. Earlier, a senior military officer from Bangladesh had visited Pakistan, where he met Pakistan Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir. Such meetings are raising the possibility of deep conspiracies between the two countries.
New beginning of defense relations
Lieutenant General Kamrul Hasan, Principal Staff Officer of the Bangladesh Armed Forces and the second-ranking officer in the army, has become the first top Bangladeshi general to visit Islamabad in many years. This visit clearly indicates progress in defense relations between the two countries.

Meetings at this level between the armies of Pakistan and Bangladesh have resumed after a gap of decades, following the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government in August last year. During his visit, General Hasan separately met Pakistan Army Chief General Munir and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza. This visit is being considered an important step towards taking the military cooperation between the two countries to a new level and strengthening mutual relations.
Big alarm bell for India
Pakistan has been continuously trying to spread unrest in India by supporting terrorists from its border. Now, due to its growing military ties with Bangladesh, India fears facing terrorist activities on the Bangladesh border as well. Experts believe that Pakistan, along with Bangladesh, can create new challenges for India. The need to increase vigilance in border areas and keep an eye on terrorism is now greater than ever.
