Seher Hone Ko Hai shoot halts amid reports of Parth Samthaan–Rishita Kothari fight on sets; Mridul reacts
TV’s heartthrob Parth Samthaan is currently basking in the success and good TRPs of his show Seher Hone Ko Hai. The show also stars Mahhi Vij and Rishita Kothari.
On Tuesday, Parth Samthaan took to his Instagram stories and informed fans that he has been surrounded by negativity and is receiving hate and negative comments on his posts. He alleged that he is well aware of who is behind this but chose not to name anyone. Following this, he announced that he will be taking a break from social media.
He wrote, “I have always been a peaceful and positive guy, focusing on the good, but recently I have noticed someone buying bot accounts and commenting rubbish on my family, me and my personal life through those fake accounts. Shocking, extremely hurtful. I am fumed with anger,” wrote Parth.

“M guessing I know the person behind all this, but it’s pointless to take names… due to which… To be continued… #DETOX.”

He further announced his social media break, stating, “I have decided to take a break from social media for some time. Can’t drain more energy on complaining to the cyber crime dept… rather focus on my life and my role as Mahir. Love, PS.”
Post this, several reports claimed that there was an ugly spat between Parth Samthaan and Rishita Kothari on the sets of Seher Hone Ko Hai, and that the shoot was halted because of the disagreement.
Following the reports, Rishita Kothari penned a long note on social media. The post came after sections of social media users, reportedly Parth’s fans, began trolling the actress and even called for her replacement from the show.
Taking to her social media account, Rishita shared a note reflecting on silence, judgment, emotional disturbance, and the impact of online negativity. She wrote, “I’ve always been a quiet person… but silence doesn’t mean I don’t feel. It doesn’t mean I don’t get hurt. And it definitely doesn’t mean I deserve to be misunderstood.”
She added, “I feel truly fortunate that this industry gave me a chance to live my dream and showcase my talent. I’m deeply grateful for the love the audience has given me—it means everything to me. I’m here because of that love. But somewhere along the way, that love also brought judgment and hate that I still don’t understand… not just towards me, but even towards my friends and family. And that is what breaks me the most.”
She further wrote, “For the longest time, I kept everything buried within me. I convinced myself this is just how it is… that maybe being new means accepting everything silently. I was told, ‘it’s a man’s world, you have to bear it.’ But slowly, that silence started to weigh on me… it began to hurt deeper than I expected. There were moments it made me feel helpless, unheard, and so alone… like no matter what I say or don’t say, it will still be questioned.”
“Why is being quiet seen as arrogance? Why is not reacting seen as guilt? Why does love come with so much hate?” she questioned.
Rishita added, “I’m just here to act, to perform, to grow, and to spread love and kindness—for the people who truly stand by me. I only hope this chaos of hate finds some light… and that truth eventually speaks for itself.”
She concluded, “God is with me. Maybe my silence said too much. Har Har Mahadev.”
Rishita Kothari’s BF Mridul Meena reacts after netizens link him to bot-driven trolling
However, it has been reported that the bot messages and negative comments are linked to Rishita Kothari’s boyfriend, Mridul Meena. Fans of Parth claim that it is due to the alleged negative PR against Parth. The rumours gained traction following reports of an off-screen fallout between the show’s lead actors, Parth and Rishita.
Amid the growing speculation, Rishita’s boyfriend finally responded, stating, “Please refrain from posting false, misleading, or defamatory content about me without any proof or factual basis.”

Mridul also shared a statement on his social media, writing, “Defamation won’t be tolerated. Keep it respectful.” He addressed pages accusing him of orchestrating bot-driven trolling and urged people to avoid spreading unverified claims. Mridul added that he has been focusing on his work over the past two months and that such “negative PR” would not affect him. He also noted that those who know him are aware of his true character.
In a strong message, he said, “You are free to support your favourite, but please do not ruin another person’s name, reputation or mental peace in the name of support.” He warned that accounts sharing unverified allegations would be reported, adding, “Going forward, any page or account sharing defamatory content about me without evidence will be formally reported to the respective platform for appropriate review and action.”
According to India Forum, Parth and Rishita were allegedly involved in a major argument on the sets of Seher Hone Ko Hai, which allegedly led to a temporary halt in shooting. However, it is not confirmed how long the pause may last or when shooting will resume.
