Ex CM's son returns to BJP, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan welcomes him with a hug

Deepak Joshi, son of former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kailash Joshi, once again joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. He returned home by taking membership of the saffron party in a program organized in Nandner during the Budhni assembly by-election. The former minister has returned to BJP in the presence of Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan.

Deepak Joshi was demanding ticket from Hatpipalya seat of Dewas during the last assembly elections, but there BJP had declared Manoj Chaudhary, who had left Congress and joined BJP, as a contender. Angered by this, Deepak Joshi left the party and joined the Congress party. Although Congress gave him ticket from Khategaon, he lost the election by 12 thousand 542 votes.

Deepak Joshi, a three-time MLA from BJP, was also the School, Higher Education and Skill Development Minister in the Shivraj government of Madhya Pradesh in 2013. In the 2018 assembly elections, Manoj Chaudhary of Congress defeated Deepak Joshi of BJP. When there was a reversal of power in Madhya Pradesh in 2020, Manoj Chaudhary left Congress along with Jyotiraditya Scindia and joined BJP. Later, Manoj Chaudhary also won the assembly by-election and became a BJP MLA. After this the equation of Hatpipalya seat changed.

Deepak Joshi was feeling uncomfortable in BJP since 2020. From time to time he also expressed his pain through social media. After this he left BJP and joined Congress. But once again he was preparing to join BJP. Deepak Joshi had hinted at returning to BJP in March this year. Told the media that I am in touch with BJP and may join it soon. Let us tell you that former MLA Deepak Joshi is the son of former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kailash Joshi. Deepak Joshi is a big leader of the party in Dewas district.
