Selfishness and domination are the root of conflict, Mohan Bhagwat gave the message of peace to the world amidst war.

Tezzbuzz Desk- Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said in Nagpur that permanent peace can be established in the world only when people leave selfishness and start living together and follow good moral values. He said these things while addressing the gathering after laying the foundation stone of the office of Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

Bhagwat stressed that the real cause of global conflicts is selfishness and desire for dominance. This is the reason why wars, violence and conflicts continue around the world. He said that lasting peace is possible only through unity, discipline and adherence to religion. India’s ancient tradition of “All are one” can show the world the path of harmony and cooperation.

The RSS chief said the world has been experimenting with different ideas to resolve conflicts for the last 2,000 years, but without much success. Religious intolerance, forced religious conversion and ideas of superiority and inferiority still exist. He said that the ancient wisdom of India teaches that everyone is connected and only by following the path of unity, harmony can be brought in the society and the world.

Bhagwat also emphasized on the practical aspect of religion. He said that religion should not be limited to books or scriptures only, but it should also be visible in the daily conduct and behavior of the people. He said that discipline and adherence to moral values demands constant practice and the ability to endure personal difficulties.

The RSS chief said India believes in humanity and coexistence, whereas in other countries more importance is given to the principle of struggle for survival and survival of the strong. He said that the world no longer needs conflict, but harmony, cooperation and moral values.

Bhagwat’s message was clear: peace and harmony are possible only when people give up selfishness and follow the path of unity and discipline and implement the real meaning of religion in their behavior.
